1. Introduction

This privacy policy describes how Traxxtar collects, uses, stores, and shares data through our Apps and through this website (traxxtar.com). Our Apps are available for iOS, iPadOS and watchOS through the Apple App Store. By downloading, installing, and using our Apps, or by using this website, you agree to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Data Our Apps Collect

Our Apps do NOT collect any personal information of any kind. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

3. How We Use App Data

We don't, because we don't collect any. Measurements, results, and recordings you create in our Apps never reach us.

4. Data Storage and Security

All measurement data, results, race counts, and video recordings are stored locally on your device. No personal or any other data is transmitted to our servers or to any external server. The one exception is Apple's own speech recognition, described below.

Some Apps talk directly to equipment and devices you own:

• Bluetooth: JumpRail connects to a Leica DISTO laser rangefinder over Bluetooth to receive distance readings. LaserPad receives readings from the DISTO as Bluetooth keyboard input, the same way a wireless keyboard types into an iPad.
• Local network: JumpRail and LaserPad send distances, results, and timer updates to other iPads running LaserPad over your local WiFi network or personal hotspot. This data travels only between your own devices on that network.
• Camera: VideoView uses your iPad's camera to record attempts for review. Recordings stay on the iPad.
• Microphone and speech recognition: When you tap Listen, LapStar uses your iPhone's microphone and Apple's built-in speech recognition to turn the hip numbers you say into text. Depending on your device and settings, iOS may process your speech on the iPhone itself or send the audio to Apple to be recognized. Any audio sent to Apple is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. LapStar only listens after you tap the Listen button. We never receive your audio or the recognized text.

iOS will ask your permission before an App can use Bluetooth, the local network, the camera, the microphone, or speech recognition, and you can change those permissions at any time in the Settings app.

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The JumpRail App integrates the following third-party components:

• LeicaSDK.framework for Bluetooth integration and communications with the Leica DISTO
• ZipArchive.framework, included as a dependency of LeicaSDK.framework
• Hexagon - Leica Geosystems compliance and license agreements

These components run entirely on your device and do not collect or send any data, so no third-party privacy policy applies to your use of our Apps.

6. Push Notifications

Our Apps do not send any push notifications to your device(s). Alerts shown by an App, such as TrialTime's haptic warnings, are generated on the device itself.

7. In-App Purchases

Our Apps do not offer in-app purchases.

8. This Website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Contact form. If you use the form on our Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you enter. The form is delivered to us by Web3Forms, which forwards your message to our email inbox. We use this information only to read and reply to your message. We never sell it, share it, or add you to a mailing list. The same applies if you email us directly.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Apps collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, consistent with COPPA.

10. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

Our Apps do not process any personal data. If you contact us through this website or by email, we process the details you send solely to respond to you, based on our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry. You have the right to access, correct, or delete that information, or to object to its use. To make a request, contact us at official@traxxtar.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Apps or this website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
